Highgate

Highgate has a delightful village atmosphere with Pond Square at its heart. Parks and green spaces abound with Waterlow Park in the Village and Hampstead Heath and Kenwood grounds within easy reach.

Local Schools include Highgate & St Michaels Primary Schools as well as Highgate School & Channing Independent schools.

Transport links are via Highgate underground on Northern Line, and multiple bus links to central London & The City. The architecture is an eclectic mix including Georgian and Victorian gems alongside modern buildings.

Famous landmarks include Kenwood House and Highgate Cemetery. Highgate has a range of independent shops including Greens of Highgate, Highgate Butchers and Lavender On The Hill & the ubiquitous Gails bakery.

Highgate is also famous for its historic pubs which include The Flask, The Gatehouse, The Angel and The Red Lion & Sun.

Muswell Hill & Alexandra Palace

Muswell Hill is a vibrant suburb of North London famed for its classic Edwardian architecture.

Based around the central roundabout The Broadway offers an excellent range of independent shops cafés and restaurants as well as some larger national brands.

Primary schools are plentiful in Muswell Hill with Muswell Hill Primary, Tetherdown, St James’s, Coldfall all highly thought of.  Fortismere is the outstanding Secondary school serving in the area.

There are excellent local parks with Highgate Woods, Coldfall Woods as well as the grounds of Alexandra Palace.

There are a couple of small local parades in Alexandra Park which provide residents with delicatessens bakers, cafes and bars.Transport links in this area are excellent – with trains into The City from Alexandra Palace Station & easy access to Central London from Bounds Green underground which is on the Piccadilly Line.

The schools in this area are highly sought after, with Rhodes Avenue, Bounds Green and Bowes Park Primary schools and Alexandra Park Secondary school.

Crouch End

The trendy village is much loved by young professionals and families alike, with a long history of attracting Arts and media types from all over north London. Its charm is the strong village feel with a safe environment to bring up children and its vibrant high-street with plenty of independent shops and great food shopping. There are two independent cinemas and a wealth of restaurants, including the highly recommended Bar Esteban and the iconic Banners.

Crouch End has six outstanding stat Primary Schools and Highgate Wood secondary school and gives easy access to the Independent Schools in Highgate & Central London.  Transport links can be found via varied bus routes to Finsbury Park and beyond as well as Crouch Hill overground station.
